When you have characters like Rufus, Tinkerbell, Woodstock, Pluto, Stewie, Maggie and other small characters, you can come up with any adventure they can go on. The little sidekicks play another key point in Buster and Company because like with the adults every story can't always be about the Toonsters or the Winx. But, you have characters they can play off of, these little mini guys. Rufus came on broad because I thought of Buster having not just a pet, but someone he can talk to when he is by himself. Rufus provide comfort and warmth when Buster is trying to think or if he is doubting himself. The idea of a furry bunny having a naked mole rat as a sidekick was just crazy, but it worked. When you have Peter Pan, you have got to bring in Tinkerbell, she is always protective of Peter, looking out for him especially when Peter talks to other girls. We also brought in the other pixies from Pixie Hollow, like Silvermist, the ditzy, but sweet water pixie, Irdessa, the worrying, protective light pixie, Fawn, the tomboy, adventurous animal pixie, Rosetta, the prettiest garden fairy, and Vidia, the cocky, fast flying fairy. And along with these pixies, we also brought in the Winx pixies, like Lockette, the pixie of locks, Amore, the pixie of love, Chatta, the pixie of gossip, Tune, the pixie of Etiquette, Digit, the pixie of technology, and Piff, the pixie of dreams. And when you put all of those pixies together, not only you do get how they react with one another, but you can get great stories with these pixies, like they go on a trip to get a smoothie. Woodstock and Kessie are also great characters, because they both play off Plucky so well and you get to see how Plucky is really more than just this hotheaded duck. Pico the woodworm, is a lost character from the Magic Voyage, and I thought since were adding in more characters, let put in Pico and add him to the little sidekicks. Stewie and Maggie are usually with the adults, and those two together are just funny babies. Stewie and Brian together are very funny especially when they go on their special road trips. Maggie gets to interact with the other characters and we she how does she get along with characters like Babs, or Anna. Rufus and the pixies and the other small characters really do get to shine in the spotlight at times like if they fight against Lucifer of Fat Cat and Fat Cat feels more like a villain to the small sidekicks rather than the Tiny Toons, because of the scale and Fat Cat's plans are more small time and they're not as big a worry as if Penguin were to steal thing. These little guys deserved a big credit to the world of Buster and Company.
Here's the little creatures who help us on the way.
